Marketing plans can take on many tactics to meet the end goal. One of the most interesting and CREATIVE forms of marketing used within a plan is Guerilla Marketing. It is unconventional, un-expected, and in many cases, unusual. It utilizes existing items related to the campaign in an unexpected ways which are typically located in public places. This generally causing people to spend more time thinking about this advertisement than they would on a regular ad. Guerilla Marketing always has a specific goal and is usually part of a larger plan than just looking cool or catching attention.
One form that I think is very fascinating is flash mobbing. If you have never heard of this, it is defined as: “A large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.” T-Moble created a flash mob to perform in London. It caught the attention of everyone in the area and created a lot of publicity. I also added a few more examples of creative guerilla marketing.
